Your New Tab Page is a Crime Scene

How many times a day do you open a new browser tab?

50? 100? For most of us, opening a tab is a reflex. It is the digital equivalent of walking into a room and forgetting why you are there.

Most browsers fill this space with “News feeds,” “Top Sites,” or advertisements disguised as articles. They are trying to hijack your attention before you even type a URL.

Claim the Space

We built the Tkr. Chrome Extension to reclaim this digital real estate. It replaces your default “New Tab” with the Life Ticker.

Now, every time you press Cmd+T to mindlessly browse, you are interrupted by a countdown of your remaining time. It forces a micro-decision:

“Is what I am about to do worth spending these seconds?”

Privacy First (The Anti-Tracker)

Most extensions are spyware. They track your history and sell your data. We do not.

The Tkr. Extension runs entirely offline. It reads your settings from your browser’s local storage. It does not “phone home.” It does not track your clicks. It just counts.

We are releasing this as a “Manual Install” package for the Resistance. It works on Chrome, Brave, and Edge.

We need your intel. This is Version 1.0. If you have ideas on how to make this more effective—or if you find a glitch—transmit a ticket via the secure channel. We build what you need.
